I had to check a map to see where it was. Its beside Ulitsa Repina behind a church (Ivanovskoe). To me its not the center anymore. The centre is in my eyes between Marta and Moskovskaya.

And interest in trash only? No!

Oops i made a mistake :-) I thought i remembered the streetnames. City center is between Moskovskaya and Vostochnaya. There you find the shops, restaurant's, offices etc.

While looking for the map on internet ( i could not find the one at home) i found a piece of text i want to place here!

< People are the top value in Ekaterinburg. In comparison with such big cities as Moscow and St. Petersburg, Ekaterinburg may be considered provincial in some ways. This influences to people, they are more traditional, more open, more friendly.

So, it doesn’t matter if you come to Ekaterinburg on business or pleasure – you will enjoy it and have good memories! >

I agree mostly with it. As allways there are people and things you don't want to remember.

I have a question!

Maybe there is in this forum someone who knows about amateur radio or knows a friend of family member who does.

I would like to know if there is a local club, where it is (adress) and what callsign they use! Callsign of my club is PI4AMF and PI4AA. My personal callsign is PD0RSX (VHF / UHF novice license).

Yes my plan is to visit Ekaterinburg again next summer. Maybe that "meisje" likes to meet me :-) I can help her wit study of dutch language and she can help me.

Privet vsem,
Continuing on yesterday’s trash topic.
The only one important thing we can do now is to stop throwing a trash all over the place. We also can do and learn our kids to consume the water, the air, the electricity e.t.c economically without exceeding normal needs. Though it’s obvious, I thing.
Anyway, now I’m in the middle of Sahara desert and even there you can see the empty cans on the virgin sand and worn-out plastic packets on the wind.
About Moscow greedy mafia of taxi- drivers. I think now you’re more experienced and have known that you can get to another airport or METRO station by bus for about 1$. The problem can be if you need to get to the airport from Moscow hotel at night. There are no buses, only “taksi“. The fixed price for taxi is about 80$, I think.
In Yekaterinburg you can find, I think, about a hundred of devoted radio amateurs. Let me know if you’re are interested. Though I’m afraid the internet will not be available for me here for the next few days.
What do you think about Russian cooking? Did you try it? Is it the worst in the world or we still have some chances?
PS. meisje, wow, do you speak Dutch?!
And Petersburg is really the best!!

Oh yes, nothing wrong in your kitchen. :-) Bliny, Plov, Borshch, Pelmeni, Piroshki, ......... I learned how to make some of those myself. Even bought zira to make plov at the same taste as in your summer cafe's. And yes im aware its original from Uzbekistan.

Your beers are OK too! I prefer Nevskoje classic. No need for me to buy "HEINIKEN" there :-) And dont think it is from Denmark its really dutch and they have brewery in St-Peter.

It was as in other country's the first line i learned : odin pivo nevskoe klassisskoe halodnae pozhalsta.
And then : Aaaaaaaaaaah Wkuzna :-)

many people in Russia think that Heiniken is beer from Denmark. it's strange. this beer is originally from your country, not from Denmark. and also fun is that sometimes they translate the word "dutch" = "датский" (danish). did you know? :-)

What i do know is that Heiniken builded a brewery there becuase it wants to be in your market, but it is really from Amsterdam (Netherlands) and not Kopenhagen.

When im outside my country i like the taste of others food, wine and beers i know. Thats why i drunk Baltica, Bochka, Siberska Korona and more to find out what i like. Even your price is better :-)

Dont be afraid to drink Heiniken but dont blame me when you get a headache from it , hahahahahahahahaha.

By prefering females i think you are male yourself. Why don't you invite them yourself? Many ways of doing that by Internet. And with the use of ICQ it will cost you not so much data :-)

To me Bretons means Bretagne and so France. I wish you succes, they dont speak foreign languages is my experience even if they learn it in school.

Hahahahaha i like that one!
:-d

But ... that kind of dutch is spoke by rich people, the kind that studied in the university of Leiden. It can be compared with English from Oxford University.

Strange sounds in Dutch? what about your >> ы << that is for me something between "i" and "e" sound. So your not the only one who's braking a tongue. People smile when i try to speak Russian, but i don't care. Most important is that they understan me and that i dob the same. Keep that in mind.

Forgive me my typing mistakes, i wrote in a hurry on a keyboard i dont like.
But it has also your characters and thats very usefull for me.

I was hoping to find people who like to learn more English and then at the same time let me learn to read better Russian.

But it seems that it ends here!

Pity
