Who likes to discuss in English language?

About Ekaterinburg:

Someting that i saw changing over 3 years is that the city looks cleaner. Less empty botles everywhere. I noticed this especcialy in May 2004. As soon as al the snow was melted everybody started to clean the gardens. Only they have a strange way doing it. You make a pile of dirt and then burn it. Smoke all over the city :-). And sometimes the fire department is needed to control when it's getting out of hand. (They where very suprised seeing me making photo's but didn't ask anything.)

Here is a law that not allows us burn everything. Burning plastic is not that good for the environment.

i am very glad to hear that you saw good changes.
and have you seen any bad changes?
and have you some experience in communicatios with just simple people here in russia? or only official people?
what is the first impression about russians?

No need to ask what to discuss, we are communicating and i learn to read your characters more faster now. Imagine that first year i couldn't read them at all.

You have a big advantage, you learn the latin alphabet too and know how to write also in translit.

You can see the photo's i made, i uploaded them today. I mean about your way of cleaning. :-)

I know now that you study my language and you are doing great! I hope you can even speak it like you write it. We have some strange sounds :-) Don't be shy to try whenever you can! Im sure that my Russian sounds funny but i can buy the most important goods on your market! :-) Im not afraid of talking with a strange "dialect".

Ha-ha what a nice topic! O.k who wants 2 discuss something not in usual form? English??? very good grammar practise (I suppose) which I really need.

O.K let's choose a good topic 'cause I think that we won't get far with this trying to mark someone's mistakes... Learn practising :-) I prefer chatting.... imho

Privet Jochie,
Twenty years ago we used only the bottles of glass for milk, juices or vodka that could be easily used many times and the paper packs, that could be utilized more-less safely. Now we have all this consummation beauty of numerous colorful plastic bottles and packs, but we are still stupid to take care of proper disposal. But we're getting cleverer with every year. I think... Yes...

My First impression is the airport in Moscow. And its a bad one. Not the man in a green uniform from customs who directs me to the Aeroflot office, he was ok and spoke good english. It was after that, when i entered the main hall, needed "Rbls" from the "bankomat" so i could buy a cup of coffee because i knew i had to wait a long time.

I was directly bothered by taxi drivers who saw me walking with a suitcase. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Leave me alone so i can get what i really need, and that is coffee, a smoke and money. And dont try to tel me that i need to be brought to another airport that will cost me 20 U.S Dollar. There was a "avtobus" waiting to bring me to the next terminal for national flights.

If you want i can explain even more or what i would like. Here on my airport every taxi has to wait in line outside waiting for customers. Instead of bothering them and telling lies.

Priwet (hallo) kite,

Even my country has to be carefull. We produce more trash too. But here we have still the system that you need paying for trash. It would be nice if companys dint produce so much of it. Or more products that can be reused again.

See there is a big difference, here a "takci" has counter, that is checked. And a government that checks there behaviour. The are watched, no driving around, just the shortest way.

Yes, normally now they (Moscow aeroport authorities) fixed price, but it remains VERY high, I think.

Even that needs more control i think.

But for now me and friends avoid it by flying with CSA (Czech airlines) over Praha. In Ekaterinburg there is not that army of of taxi drivers waiting and on Praha they get not chance. (transit)

It was only my first impression.
